Brandon Vining

A Certified Crop Consultant and Mountain West Region Farm Manager for Homestead Capital. Mr. Vining was formerly a Certified Crop Adviser at Simplot, where he was responsible for consulting with growers across the region on fertilizer and chemical needs. He has deep experience working with a broad range of crops including potatoes, sugar beets, barley, wheat, corn, and alfalfa. Mr. Vining received his B.S. in Botany from Idaho State University.

• Started own private Consulting business ProGro Consulting in 2016

Mr. Vining has a deep understanding of most potato cropping systems currently used in the United States. He has a vast knowledge of potato diseases, deficiencies, and insect symptoms. In addition, he has been involved in the potato production business for 25 plus years and has been involved on both sides of the potato production seed and commercial production.
